Synonymous Sport’s & Tec Supplies’ fundraising success!

Several sporting events in 2024/2025 saw the companies raise over £18k for Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund.

Synonymous Sport and Tec Supplies are delighted to confirm a fundraising total of £18,557.61 for Essex-based charity Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. This amount has been raised due to the generosity of guests and participants at several events over the past few months, including An Evening of Boxing in March, hosted at Braxted Park, Witham.

Lindsey Bidwell, Relations & Partnership Manager at Lennox, was delighted with the donation. “We have worked with Darrell at Synonymous Sport, Kieran and Wes at Tec Supplies for several years now. Their efforts go towards supporting families at the most difficult times of their lives, so we are so grateful for their commitment to our cause.”

Alongside other sponsors OMODA | JAECOO Rayleigh, Synonymous Sport’s boxing event was a fantastic evening of live sporting action. Synonymous Sport Managing Director, Darrell Fox, said that this is all part of a wider commitment to the Essex community.

“Over the past 3 years, as we have been building our reputation as sports sponsorship experts, we have also raised over £60,000 for charitable causes in our local community through our events.

“We believe in the power of relationships and it is an honour being able to support some incredible causes with great people like Lindsey and the team at Tec Supplies.

“An Evening of Boxing, our Lord’s Long Room Lunch, the Synonymous Raceday at Chelmsford City Racecourse – these events allow us to give something back, whilst providing incredible experiences for the local corporate market.”

Synonymous Sport have also confirmed that An Evening of Boxing will return in 2026, sponsored by Tec Supplies once more. Taking place on Thursday 5th March, the event will be in aid of Lennox. You can find out more details here.
