The Synonymous Sport Raceday raises over £1,600 for The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation and confirms 2026 return:
Synonymous Sport are delighted to announce that the 2025 Synonymous Sport Raceday raised £1,601.53 in support of The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation. The sold-out event brought together over 300 guests for a day of racing, entertainment, and charitable giving at Chelmsford City Racecourse.
Guests enjoyed a memorable experience with different forms of entertainment, including meeting sporting stars such as former professional footballer and England international Alvin Martin, appearances from boxing and social media stars Johnny Fisher and Big John, an evening of live music, and eight thrilling races.
The success of the day would not have been possible without the generous support of our event sponsors, The TP Group, and OMODA | JAECOO Rayleigh who showcased a selection of their stunning vehicles on-site.
Darrell Fox, Founder of Synonymous Sport, said:
“I’ve known Richard and Nikki for over 15 years and I’ve always tried to support the amazing work they do through The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation. It means a great deal to us at Synonymous Sport to be able to contribute, and I’m proud that our Raceday continues to raise vital funds for such an important cause.”
Richard Bowdidge MBE, Trustee of The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation, added:
“Our mission is to support teenagers and young adults living with cancer, focusing on their well-being, emotional support, and providing the resources they need to face an incredibly difficult journey. Events like the Synonymous Sport Raceday not only raise essential funds but also spread awareness of the challenges young people face, and we are deeply grateful for the continued support.”
Synonymous Sport would also like to extend their thanks to Chelmsford City Racecourse for their outstanding hospitality, and of course, to all our guests for contributing to such a meaningful fundraising effort.
Following two consecutive sell-out years, Synonymous Sport is thrilled to confirm that the Raceday will return on the 4th of June 2026. Taking place in the exclusive Queen Charlotte Marquee at Chelmsford City Racecourse, the event is set to be an unforgettable summer’s day at the races and a standout highlight of the Essex corporate calendar.
Guests will enjoy premium hospitality, a lively mix of entertainment, and the chance to connect with some well-known sporting names.
The 2026 edition will welcome some of the biggest businesses in East Anglia, alongside some of the county’s most prestigious brands.
